Topmarx were appointed to provide attendance on Uretek who were to stabilise floors and walls at the property. We were also to complete protections, crack repairs, and redecorations internally and externally. We met with the project manager and arranged further assessments with specialists and neighbouring property owners.
It was not until Uretek had completed their work that the full extent of the damage became apparent. Variations were agreed with the project manager following extensive telephone calls and exchanges of photographs.
The policyholder was very impressed with the works completed in particular twice weekly calls from the office and the site manager informing her of developments, issues and program. She commented that the standards of finishes were very high and it was like she was moving back into a new home.
The project manager complimented us on the contact we maintained with the policyholder saying “you successfully succeeded in maintaining customer satisfaction by continuously taking time to explain the process of reinstatement, and fully involving the Policyholder… , I was particularly impressed with the Topmarx team drawing all the issues together” We worked closely with the project manager which minimised the time he required to assess the problems encountered. Time invested in keeping all parties updated was recouped as the claim progressed well through the construction phase despite unavoidable variations.
